IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division has been included in the All-Russian register of enterprises and organizations actively involved in socio-economic development of subjects of the federation and municipalities "Book of Honour in 2016".
As an important link of the energy complex of the Kostroma region, "Kostromaenergo" works reliably and consistently, making a significant contribution to the development of the region.
In 2016 the enterprise upgraded two significant for the region supply stations – the 110 kV substations "Kostroma-3" and "SU GRES". The substation "SU GRES" provides electricity to the rapidly growing industrial park "Volgorechensky", anchor residents of which are OJSC "Gazpromtrubinvest", "NEW Kostroma" LLC, OJSC "INTER RAO - Electric Power Plants". The substation "Kostroma-3" supplies power to a number of socially important facilities of the regional centre over the Kostroma River. During the reconstruction the capacity of each power facility was increased from 26 MVA to 32 MVA.
Also in the current year the main work was completed to modernize the 110 kV substations "Vostochnaya-1" and "Vostochnaya-2", providing electricity to large housing estates, industrial enterprises and social institutions of the city.
Providing connection of new customers to the power grid, participating in the implementation of social projects, "Kostromaenergo" successfully solves the problem of uninterrupted electricity supply, it contributes to creation of additional jobs in the Kostroma region, as well as improvement of rural settlements.
The Kostroma branch of IDGC of Centre is one of the largest taxpayers in the region. So, for 9 months of 2016 the company transferred to the regional budget and off-budget funds about 359 million rubles.
