IDGC of Centre took part in the educational-methodical conference "Challenges and solutions in the field of staffing in the electric power and heat industry"

In Moscow, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation a conference "Challenges and solutions in the field of staffing in the electric power and heat industry" was held. The event was organized by National Research University "MPEI", the Federal Academic Methodological Association in higher education for the enlarged group of specialties and areas of training 13.00.00 Electricity and heat, the Federal Academic Methodological Association in secondary vocational education for the enlarged groups of professions, specialties 13.00.00 Electricity and heat, the Ministry of Energy of the Moscow region, the Industry Association of Employers of the Power Sector (RaEl Association) and Federal State Independent Institution "Federal Institute for Educational Development".

IDGC of Centre in the event was represented by Head of the HR Management Department of IDGC of Centre, PJSC Natalia Bulan and the head of the HR management office of IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division Alla Korolkova.

The conference discussed issues of organization of effective interaction between the academic community and employers in vocational education, the quality of vocational education, professional public accreditation of professional educational programs and independent assessment of qualifications.

A report of the representative of the Smolensk branch of IDGC of Centre Alla Korolkova was devoted to modern trends of development of secondary vocational education in Russia, which in the last decade underwent significant changes. Alla Korolkova told the audience about the current state of secondary vocational education, as well as effective mechanisms and instruments that may affect the training of popular and qualified personnel for the energy industry.

According to Head of the HR Management Department of IDGC of Centre, PJSC Natalia Bulan: - "At the moment the need of Russian energy companies in highly skilled and enterprising workers grows every day. In this regard, one of the most urgent tasks for the further development of Russia’s energy sector is the organization of effective interaction between universities and employers. This event becomes a stage to understand this experience and find the most successful forms of such cooperation. "Natalia Bulan also noted that the need for skilled workers allows employers to actively participate in the formation and equipping of educational programs in schools, to get acquainted with future graduates, attracting them for practice and participation in projects with their topics.

The company IDGC of Centre actively cooperates with one of the largest Russian research universities in the field of energy - Moscow Power Engineering Institute. Between IDGC of Centre and NRU MPEI there was an agreement signed in 2013 on development of cooperation, which resulted in the formation of personnel reserve of the company of the best graduates. During this period the company gained an impressive experience in staff development and training of young specialists in terms of their receiving practical experience at electric grid facilities of IDGC of Centre.
