Kurskenergo’s specialists fulfilled the main events of the 2016 repair program

IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division is completing preparation for the autumn-winter operation period of 2016-2017. One of the priorities of preparation for the autumn-winter period is still the implementation of the repair program.

From January to August 2016 Kurskenergo’s specialists repaired 366 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV, 50 circuit breakers of 35-110 kV; 1,893.3 km of 0.4-10 kV overhead lines and 428.1 km of 35-110 kV overhead lines. They overhauled equipment of 17 substations of 35 - 110 kV, including such important supply centres as the substation 110 kV "Shumakovo" - a key source of electricity for consumers of Solntsevskiy district in the Kursk region, the 110 kV substations "Progress" and "Compressor", which provides electricity to a compressor station of gas mains.

Kurskenergo pays particular attention to clearing of ROWs along power lines. During the reporting period specialists of the branch cleared 814.1 hectares of ROWs. Kurskenergo performed its repair program for 8 months of 2016 at 81.1% of the annual plan.

Total in 2016 Kursk power engineers will repair 24 substations of 35 - 110 kV, 416 transformer substations of 6-10 kV, more than 2,500 km of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines, will bring 910.9 hectares of ROWs along overhead lines of all voltage classes to standards. Kurskenergo will spend 209.2 million rubles on it.

Timely repair of power grid facilities is the key to their stable and smooth operation, including during autumn-winter peak loads.
