IDGC of Centre took part in the festival #VmesteYarche

IDGC of Centre took part in the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #VmesteYarche. The main purpose of the festival is to promote among the population a culture of rational use of natural resources and demonstration of modern energy efficient technologies that are applied in various sectors of the economy.

Themed events were held in most branches of the company. In Belgorod holiday themed events were held on a site outdoors in front of the cinema "Rusich". During the day on the "Boulevard of modern energy efficient technologies" specialists of "Belgorodenergo" advised residents on energy saving, demonstrated modern energy-efficient technologies, for children they conducted fascinating physical and chemical experiments, competitions and quizzes with presentation of diplomas and gifts.

In the centre of Bryansk throughout the day there was a site working, at which Bryanskenergo’s employees provided a modern urban electric vehicle, which uses electric energy as fuel. An analogue of a modern car caused great interest among residents of Bryansk.

In Tver in the City Garden Tverenergo’s power engineers set up a real museum of the Tver power system under the open sky, presented new off-road vehicles, arranged the photo zone, so that everyone could feel to be an electrician. In addition, the power engineers offered everyone to play a tactical game "Smart House", designed by the organizers of #VmesteYarche and paint the planet Earth with bright colours.

In the Children’s Park of Orel staff of Orelenergo told guests of the festival about how electricity is supplied to the house and a production site, reminded them of simple rules of energy saving, showed how very different power consumption of different types of lamps, used in the home, is. Visitors to the exhibition of the branch were able to see special vehicles used by power engineers and models of electrical equipment, to try electricians’ uniform on and ride an electric vehicle. A high permeability TREKOL electric vehicle was popular among guests of the festival, which is used to locate faults on power lines being in hard to reach terrain.

Several thematic zones were organized in Lipetsk in the Victory Park, in one of which experts of Lipetskenergo launched an informative site with presentation of diagnostic tools. On the "Boulevard of energy efficient technologies" everyone could get acquainted with devices, allowing to identify and eliminate local defects of power equipment and thereby prevent occurrence of potential emergency situations.

In all branches at the events special play areas for children were organized, where staff of IDGC of Centre told children about the basic ways to save electricity in the home, as well as showing cartoons, teaching rational use of energy.

All activities and expositions, presented by the branches of IDGC of Centre, were highly appreciated by representatives of regional authorities. Many employees of IDGC of Centre were awarded diplomas for their active participation in the festival.

IDGC of Centre actively supports projects related to the promotion of ideas of energy saving and energy efficiency. The company has approved a single standard, which defines the main principles, objectives, target groups and communication channels to promote these issues.

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre do special work to promote energy-saving lifestyle among schoolchildren and preschoolers. On an ongoing basis specialists of IDGC of Centre provide lessons on energy saving, trying to explain to children that the efficient use of energy resources not only contributes to significant cost savings, but also helps prolong the lifecycle of domestic appliances.
