IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division became the winner of the regional stage of the All-Russian contest "Russian Organization of High Social Efficiency", organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Russian Federation. The company excelled in the nomination "For promotion of healthy lifestyles in organizations of the production sector".
As a branch of a social-oriented company, Kurskenergo conducts systematic work aimed at creation for its employees of favourable conditions of work and rest, preservation and strengthening of their health. As in all other branches of the company, Kurskenergo has the single Collective Agreement of IDGC of Centre in place, providing a set of measures of social support of staff. In particular, according to the document, the company’s employees are provided compensation for wellness and resort treatment. An important place in the Collective Agreement is given to issues of safety. The company’s employees undergo regular medical examinations, following the results of which those in need of medical care are sent to outpatient, inpatient or resort treatment at the expense of the voluntary health insurance. In 2015 Kurskenergo’s employees used free and discounted vouchers.
Kurskenergo annually holds Sports Games in summer and winter sports, power engineers take part in corporate, regional and local sporting events. To strengthen the health of personnel in Distribution Zones of the branch there are equipped gyms, leased pools, a soccer field, a hockey rink, a sports hall for volleyball and mini-football.
Systematic work on disease prevention, occupational safety, health promotion gives the result: in 2015 the number of man-days of illness of Kurskenergo’s employees relative to 2014 reduced by 13%. The collection of sporting achievements of the enterprise in the past year was replenished with football victories in the championship and in the Cup of Kursk Football League in mini-football and the championship of the city of Kursk in football. Thrice Kurskenergo’s team won first place in the rally of the youth tourism of Kursk Elektroprofsoyuz (Power Engineers’ Trade Union).

Kurskenergo does much work to encourage employees to physical education and sports, promotion of healthy lifestyles," stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky.
The contest "Russian Organization of High Social Efficiency" has been held since 2000. Its purpose is to attract public attention to the importance of social issues and specific examples to demonstrate its solutions in organizations and enterprises. The Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre not the first time has achieved success in recent years. In 2013 the company won in the nomination "Best Company for Working Mothers", and in 2010 entered the top three in the nomination "For development of human resources in organizations of the production sector".
