The results of the photo contest "Energy around us"

IDGC of Centre summarized the photographic contest on the theme "Energy around us". A total of 243 employees from 11 branches took part in the contest. The competition consisted of two stages - the regional, at the level of the Company’s branches, and the final one. In the finals a total of 165 original works of took place in the contest.

The competition was held in six categories "Everyday Life of Power Engineers", "Romance", "In life, it happens", "Best B&W", "Selfies" and "Photography in GIF format". The main criterion in the evaluation of the photos was developing of the contest theme "Energy around us". In the category "Everyday Life of Power Engineers" the most important thing was to accurately convey the everyday work, complexity and responsibility of the profession. The authors of the photos in the category "In life, it happens", it was necessary to "peep" something unusual, hilarious, funny and capture on camera. In the category "Romance" the ability of the author to convey a romantic mood, the beauty of nature and architecture was assessed. Art photography was important in the nomination "Best B&W". "Selfies" could be both individual and group. In the nomination "GIF" pictures in GIF format of any genre directions could be presented, revealing the theme of the Contest "Energy around us".

In the nomination "Everyday Life of Power Engineers" the winner was an electrician for operation of distribution grids of grade 5 of a crew to operate transformer and distribution substations from Kostromsky Distribution Zone of category 2 of "Kostromaenergo" Valery Smirnov with his photo "Hard work".

In the nomination "In life, it happens" the winner was an electrician of a first responding mobile crew from Nekrasovsky Distribution Zone of "Yarenergo" Alexander Mokin with his work "A phone rang in the Distribution Zone..."

In the nomination "Best B&W" the winner was Chair of the primary trade union organization of Bryanskenergo Yulia Ermakova with her work "In the mirror of energy". And two prize winners were identified - an engineer of Yarenergo Tatiana Solonikova with her work "Thoughts into the distance" and Head of the department of analysis and production management of the production asset management Centre of Kostromaenergo Alexander Dyukov with his work "The winter’s tale".

Most works were presented in the nomination "Romance". The Contest Commission determined the winner - it is a counsel of category 1 from Bryanskenergo Victoria Shendrik with her work "Love in the rhythm of ENERGY". 5 people will be awarded diplomas.

It is a leading engineer of the department of execution and control of grid connections of Tambovenergo Ekaterina Kuznetsova with her work "Boundless distant prospect", a leading engineer of Smolenskenergo Alexander Oreschenkov for the work "Morning", an engineer of category 1 of Kurskenergo Sergey Shatalov for his work "The main element" , Head of the production and technical group from Ostrovsky Distribution Zone of category 3 of Kostromaenergo Olga Pakueva for her work "The sun plays" and a leading expert of Bryanskenergo Yulia Chuprik for her work "Sunset, raising energy of light".

The best in the nomination "Pictures in GIF format" was an engineer of category 1 of the perspective development office of the branch "Tambovenergo" Dmitry Starostin with his work "View of the SS 500 kV Tambov".

In the category "Selfies" the winner was an engineer of category 2 of the service of diagnostics of the Tver production depot of "Tverenergo" Maria Mayakova with her work "Hockey selfie" work, which imprinted participating teams of the III hockey tournament of IDGC of Centre.

The jury identified additional nominations "Originality" and "Use of photo filters". The winner in the nomination "Originality" was the daughter of an engineer of the production and technical group from Rybinsky Distribution Zone of the branch "Yarenerogo" Svetlana Kazakova, 17-year-old Lika Kazakova, who combined in her work a photo and a drawing.

In the nomination "The use of photo filters" the winner was Deputy Chief Engineer - Head of Distribution Grids Office of the branch "Lipetskenergo" Sergey Russkikh with his work "Energy experience. Man of labour".
