The primary trade union organization of IDGC of Centre held the II-nd reporting and election conference. It was attended by delegates from the trade union organizations of the company’s branches, representatives of IDGC of Centre and the Moscow regional committee of the public association "Russian Electroprofsoyuz".
Chairman of the trade union committee of the primary trade union organization Victor Ablezgov had a report on the main outcome of the trade union organization activity for the five years. He noted that, despite the worsening economic situation in the country that happened in the reporting period, IDGC of Centre consistently adhered to its socially - responsible approach to the regulation of social - labour relations. Largely because of this, the union and the management of the Company achieved some positive results in solving the main task - to ensure the decent standard of living of the Company’s employees.
The Company created all the conditions for successful production and business activities of power engineers. Staff is paid salaries in a timely manner, material assistance, benefits and compensations are provided. The range and scope of social support of workers in the framework of the Collective Agreement of the Company is expanded, which is estimated by experts as one of the best in the electric grid complex.
In order to improve industrial safety, the trade union committee, trade union activists, trade unions of the branches, trade union implement programs to improve working conditions, trade union carries out an audit of readiness for the autumn-winter operation period, providing employees with personal protective equipment. The primary trade union organizations of the branches developed and successfully operate the "Program to improve the living conditions of staff" - with the support of the union new recreational facilities are created, dining rooms are equipped with utensils, sports and exercise rooms are set up, rooms of psychological relief function.
During the reporting period the trade union committee in cooperation with the company was actively involved in the organization of sports-mass work. In particular, the annual holding of the Summer Sports Games of IDGC of Centre was organized, two corporate hockey tournaments were conducted. Thanks largely to the created with the assistance of the trade union favourable conditions for workers to do sports, representatives of IDGC of Centre successfully participate in regional and national competitions held by various professional associations.
As part of the cultural work trade union activists of IDGC of Centre regularly participated in the organization of amateur art festivals and competitions organized for employees and their families, tours and excursions, visits to entertainment events. Much was also done for the organization of summer and winter holidays for power engineers and their families.
The union fruitfully and closely cooperated with the veterans’ and youth organizations of IDGC of Centre. Big joint work was done, particularly in the framework of the events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory - they were held in all the company’s branches. In addition, in the past and current years the trade union organization assisted in ensuring the activity of students’ construction crews working at facilities of IDGC of Centre.
With the participation and active support of the trade union many corporate and charitable activities were implemented aimed at solving social problems and assisting concrete employees. So, following the results of corporate charity events held in 2014 about 7 million rubles were collected for the expensive treatment of children of the company’s employees.
As a result of the report, the participants of the conference recognized the work of the trade union committee satisfactory and approved the main priorities of its work for the next five-year period. Among them is control over fulfillment of the collective agreement and the work on labour protection, advice to union members on issues of interest, cultural and sports activities, work with the youth and veterans, information work with members of the union, strengthening the internal trade union discipline. In the course of the past elections, the delegates of the conference extended the powers of Victor Ablezgov as Chairman of the trade union committee for the next five years. They also elected new members of the trade union committee and the audit committee.
