Chief Engineer of Russian Grids had a working visit to the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre

23 June, 2015, Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of JSC "Russian Grids" Alexander Faustov and First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin had a working visit to IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division.

As part of the visit the work of the Grid Control Centre of the branch and ways to improve the operational management of the branch as planned and emergency response were considered. In Kalininsky Distribution Zone they checked the state of emergency reserve and in the Customer Service Centre in the city of Tver tested a system of customer service and provision of value-added services.

In the executive office of Tverenergo a working meeting was held, which also was attended by heads of the technical unit of the executive office of IDGC of Centre, and representatives of technical services of the branch and discussed the scheme of perspective development of the electric grid complex of the Tver region, and the question of the current state of one of the important processes - the grid connection. The meeting’s participants noted that even with a significant volume of applications for grid connection in the region today the load capacity of electric grid facilities of Tverenergo is not complete. During the meeting the participants agreed on the need for consolidation of electric network as the next step of IDGC of Centre in the project to optimize costs and increase the efficiency of grid management in terms of their large territorial extension.
