IDGC of Centre is involved in implementation of major projects in the field of housing construction in the Central Federal District

IDGC of Centre is actively involved in the implementation of major investment projects in housing construction in the regions where it operates (11 subjects of the Central Federal District). The company provides connection to electric grids of new neighbourhoods and apartment complexes, as well as the concomitant social and communal infrastructure. The most significant scope of this work is planned this year in the Kostroma, Bryansk, Lipetsk and Voronezh regions.

The Kostroma region, according to the Rosstat, in 2014 became the leader in terms of growth in housing construction among the subjects of the Central Federal District. In 2015-2016 it is planned here to put into operation 290 thousand square metres of housing. IDGC of Centre’s investment program is synchronized with these plans regarding the construction of power grid infrastructure in the region. In 2015 grid connection of multi-storey building facilities accounts for 40 MW of 63 MW of the total volume of new connections in the Kostroma region. Among the most important projects implemented by IDGC of Centre in the region at present are connection to electric grids of two new major micro-districts of Kostroma - "Agashkina Mountain" and "New Town" with their area of ​​residential buildings of 32 and 21 thousand square metres respectively. The neighbourhood "Agashkina Mountain" will include more than 20 facilities - apartment buildings and social institutions, totalling more than 6 MW of capacity. The facilities of "Agashkina Mountain" are connected to the grid in stages, the completion of construction is planned for 2017. Total connected capacity for the constructed facilities of the neighbourhood "New Town" is also more than 6 MW, their connection to the power grid has been performed since 2012, the full completion of the work is planned for 2017.

In the Lipetsk region IDGC of Centre plans to connect this year to the grid housing projects with total capacity of 24.02 MW (31% of total annual new connections). The largest grid connection project will be the neighborhood "Yeletsky", the biggest in the regional centre. There will be built about 480 thousand square metres of housing, including 200 thousand square metres - during 2015. Maximum grid connected power will be 19.98 MW.

In the Bryansk region this year the total planned grid connected capacity of apartment houses and complexes of multi-storey residential buildings will be about 10.58 MW, or 32.6% of the total grid connection scope of IDGC of Centre in the region. Among the largest facilities are a residential complex in Flotskaya street in Bezhitsky district in the city of Bryansk, where in a few years grid connection of maximum total connected capacity of 22.6 MW will be carried out.

 

The total connected capacity of housing projects in the Voronezh region in 2015 will be 7.27 MW. Among the most ambitious projects of IDGC of Centre here are ensuring the power grid infrastructure of the residential complex for 2,176 apartments with a total living area of ​​150 thousand square metres, which was built in the regional centre commissioned by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for aircrew airdrome "Baltimore" and teachers of the Air Force Centre "Air Force Academy named after N.E. Zhukovsky and Yury Gagarin". The company completed the work on it in February, the volume of connected capacity amounted to 3.78 MW.

A number of major grid connection projects of housing will be implemented this year by IDGC of Centre in other regions as well. In the Belgorod region, in addition to the connection of apartment buildings, the most important area of ​​work will be to ensure the grid infrastructure of neighbourhoods of mass individual housing construction. In 2015 the company will connect to the grid 3,329 sites in the private housing construction, located in Belgorodsky, Stary Oskolsky, Shebekinsky, Valuisky, Graivoronovsky and other districts. In the Yaroslavl region one of the largest projects of IDGC of Centre this year will grid connection of new buildings in the settlement of Dyatkovo of the regional centre with a total living area of ​​26.8 thousand square metres. The company has scheduled all work for completion already in the summer.
