General Director of IDGC of Centre Oleg Isaev awarded the Medal of the Bryansk diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church of St. Prince Oleg Bryansk I degree. Metropolitan of Bryansk and Sevsk Alexander noted that the company’s employees are actively involved in charitable activities aimed at reviving the spiritual culture and Orthodox traditions of the Fatherland, which fully applies to representatives of the management and operational staff of IDGC of Centre.

Employees of IDGC of Centre help religious institutions in all regions of the company’s service area - are involved in raising funds or things for the disadvantaged, assist in restoration activities, etc.

Power engineers of Smolenskenergo from personal funds help the private educational institution for orphans and children left without parental care "Orthodox orphanage", created in accordance with the decree of Bishop of Smolensk and Kaliningrad Kirill and the cooperation agreement between the Administration of the Smolensk region and the Smolensk and Kaliningrad diocese. In addition, employees of the Smolensk branch of IDGC of Centre participated in raising funds to build a temple in honour of St. John of Kronstadt in Dorogobuzhsky district of the Smolensk region and contributed to improvement of the surrounding area.

Employees of Orelenergo helped repair work in the monastery Xenia of Petersburg in the village of Dolbenkino in Dmitrovsky district. They also collected humanitarian aid for the rehabilitation centre and orphanage at the monastery. Representatives of Bryanskenergo assisted with personal funds the church in the name of Martyrs Boris and Gleb in the village of Gosoma in the Bryansk region for the acquisition of the main Christian symbol - the cross of Calvary.

Power engineers of Kostromaenergo make a contribution to the improvement of the territory of the Church of St. Tikhon. Four years ago, they planted a fir alley here and now help keep it clean and tidy.

In the Lipetsk region, starting in 2013, power engineers have provided electricity to 25 facilities of the Russian Orthodox Church, including - parishes of the Lipetsk and Yelets diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate and local religious organizations. In addition, as part of the maintenance of outdoor lighting networks the power engineers of the Lipetsk branch of IDGC of Centre provide lighting and art illumination of one of the largest Russian Orthodox churches - the Ascension Cathedral in Yelets.

Among other important projects implemented by IDGC of Centre in recent years - performance of work on outdoor lighting of the Kazan Cathedral in Yaroslavl to its 95th anniversary and the new Michael the Archangel Church in the settlement of Satinka in Sampursky district of the Tambov region, assistance in carrying out conservation and restoration activities and work on the reconstruction of the temple painting of John the Baptist at Pine Wood in the Chernigov Patriarchal monastery.
