IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division takes an active part in the implementation of major investment projects and state programs in the sphere of housing construction in the Voronezh region. In 2015, according to the plans, the total connected capacity of the branch for housing projects will be 7.27 MW, the planned amount of revenue of the branch from their grid connection will exceed 106.7 million rubles without VAT.
Among the most important projects of the year it is worth noting ensuring electric grid infrastructure of the residential complex for 2,176 apartments with a total living area of 1500 000 m2, which was built in the regional centre, at premises of military garrison №1, commissioned as requested by the Ministry of Defense for aircrew of the airdrome "Baltimore" and teachers of the Air Force Centre "The Air Force Academy named after prof. N.E. Zhukovsky and Y.A. Gagarin". Voronezhenergo’s power engineers completed the work in February. Within this project they built a 12-kilometre section of the cable line XLPE 6 kV from 110 kV substation №25 "Utility" to a distribution centre projected by the applicant (DS-6). The maximum installed capacity of the residential complex is 3.78 MW.
Another major grid connection project is the cottage settlement "Nikolsky yards" with an area of 62 hectares under construction in Novousmansky municipal district near the city of Voronezh. The settlement, in addition to residential buildings, provides for the construction of social infrastructure: schools, kindergartens, a medical and obstetric centre, a club, and a playground. In addition, under the project it is planned to build sewage treatment plants, a water intake station, gas distribution stations and transformer substations. As part of the work to ensure "Nikolsky yards" with the electric grid infrastructure Voronezhenergo’s specialists replace two power transformers of 4 MVA and 6.3 MVA for more powerful 10 MVA at the 35 kV substation "Maslovskaya", which will provide power supply of the cottage settlement. The work is expected to be completed in the 4th quarter of this year. The connected capacity of the settlement is 3 MW.
Also among the important projects of Voronezhenergo in the field of infrastructural support of housing construction in 2015 is grid connection of a group of houses of LLC "Instep" in the settlement of Otradnoye in Novousmansky district and two residential complexes in the regional centre.
"The Voronezh region ranks third in the Central Federal District after Moscow and the Moscow region for the construction of housing," stresses Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division director Ivan Kleymenov. "Last year, the region reached the historical maximum - commissioned 926,000 square metres of new residential premises. Voronezhenergo is actively involved in the implementation of investment projects in the area of housing construction. Thus, the power engineers contribute to the development of economy and social sphere of the region."
