Power engineers of IDGC of Centre are eliminating technological disturbances caused by bad weather in Yeletsky district

Sharp deterioration in weather conditions caused by high winds with gusts up to 30 m/s in the territory of Yeletsky district, resulting in damage to poles for overhead lines of 110 kV. As a result of it 258 transformer substations, 45 settlements and about 9 thousand consumers were de-energized.

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division immediately started implementing first responding and restoration operations. Currently, in locations of process violations there are 4 first responding mobile crews of 60 people, involving 12 special vehicles. For the restoration period power supply to consumers will be provided by back-up sources. First of all electricity will be supplied to socially important consumers. The work will continue until power supply is fully restored.
