April 10, the TASS building in Moscow hosted a ceremony awarding KonTEKst among the press service of companies of the fuel and energy industry. The press service of IDGC of Centre won the contest in the category "Social Energy" for the best coverage of the topic "Social and labour relations in the electric power industry of Russia" by corporate media of power companies. The founder of the nomination "Social Energy" is the Russian Industrial Association of Employers in the Power Industry (RaEl Association).
The contest "KonTEKst" is supported by the Russian Ministry of Energy since 2009 and is an official event of the Committee on Communications in the Fuel and Energy Industry of the Russian Association of Public Relations. The contest combines several areas: a competition among press services of companies' of the fuel and energy industry; a competition of special projects of fuel and energy companies, a competition for the media writing about the fuel and energy industry; and a competition of independent experts of the fuel and energy industry.
