Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division completed work on electricity grid connection of a new micro-district, which was built in the village of Leninskoye in Kirsanovsky district of the Tambov region in the framework of a regional program to move people out of dilapidated housing. Settlers were residents of two-storey wooden houses with stove heating, built in the 30s of the last century - a total of 51 families. 13 apartment buildings were built for them.
The power engineers received applications for grid connection of the new micro-district in 2014, and promptly started to perform the necessary work. The project was realized with the active cooperation with the administration of the Tambov region, authorities of Kirsanovsky district and the head of the village council of Leninskoye. To provide new homes with electricity IDGC of Centre’s experts in 2014 installed a package transformer substation of 10/0.4 kV 250 kVA, constructed about a kilometre of overhead power lines. The process of connecting to the grid occurred as delivery of houses in operation and was completed in the spring of 2015. Currently, all the facilities are provided with electricity, 28 families had their house warming parties. The rest are planning to move to a new apartment before the end of April.

Thanks to the coordinated work of the power engineers, their responsible attitude we were able in time to complete the construction of houses for the citizens and provide comfortable living conditions," stressed the head of the administration of the village council of Leninskoye Vladislav Levin.
The neighbourhood in the village of Leninskoye is not the only joint project implemented by the power engineers and representatives of regional and local authorities in the Tambov region within the target housing programs. So, in 2014, experts of IDGC of Centre provided connection to the grid of a new neighbourhood built in the village of Novopokrovka in Mordovsky district under the federal targeted program "Housing". Now it is home to the citizens who lost their homes three years ago because of the hurricane that struck the region.
