IDGC of Centre continues to hold in its divisions traditional "Donor Days". Another charity event to donate blood and its components, called "Give a man's life - become a donor!", timed to celebrate the 7th of April World Health Day, was held in the Bryansk branch of the company. It was organized by the Youth Council of Bryankenergo involving State Healthcare Institution "Bryansk regional blood transfusion station". 43 employees of Bryanskenergo took part in the action, during it a total of about 22 liters of blood were collected, which were sent to the department of hematology of pediatric and regional hospitals.
"Donor Days" have been held in the Bryansk branch of IDGC of Centre since 2009, the present action has already become the twelfth. Over 500 people attended the "Donor Days" for a total of six years, and the blood banks of medical institutions of the Bryansk region were supplemented by more than 250 liters.
"Donor Days" have become a good tradition in the executive office of the company as well. Actions on blood donation have been held there every year since 2012, IDGC of Centre organized them with the Blood Centre of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency, Foundation for Children with Cancer and Blood Diseases "Give Life", established by the actresses Chulpan Khamatova and Dina Korzun, and the initiative group "Donors to Children". During this time more than 100 employees participated in the "Donor Days", and more than 40 liters of blood were collected and sent to healthcare institutions.
