For 9 months of 2014 IDGC of Centre concluded over 38,788 contracts for a total capacity of about 1,090 MW. During the same period the company performed more than 35,702 contracts, which is 21.21% more than in the same period of 2013. The total capacity under these agreements amounted to more than 760 MW.
The main share of applications was received from individuals and small businesses. At the same time the company implemented a number of major projects for grid connection. In particular, in the Belgorod region for 9 months enterprises in the agricultural sector of Rakityansky district with customer contract demand of 6 MW and Korochansky district with customer contract demand of 8 MW were connected to the grid.
Furthermore, IDGC of Centre performed grid connection of facilities of Novovoronezh NPP-2 of OJSC "Concern Rosenergoatom" under construction in the Voronezh region with a capacity of 16 MW.
As part of its customer-oriented policy experts of IDGC of Centre’s branches also regularly outreach residential customers to explain tariffs, tell them about both the electricity grid connection procedure itself and changes in the law governing the process.
The grid connection procedure includes compulsory basic stages: filing applications and documents to the grid company by the customer, conclusion of a grid connection contract and harmonization of technical conditions, implementation by the parties of the contract related activities, getting the clearance for operation of facilities, actual connection of power installations of a consumer to the mains of the grid company, drawing up a grid connection performance certificate.
