Power engineers of IDGC of Centre quickly restore power supply in the Kostroma region

8 November 2014

November 8 in the Kostroma region adverse weather conditions caused power outages in several areas of the region. The main part of the interruptions was in Buisky, Galichsky, Soligalichsky, Parfenevsky, Neisky, Antropovsky, Kadyisky and Makarevsky disricts. Despite this there were no massive violations of the energy supply in the region recorded. Power engineers immediately proceeded to eliminate the consequences of the natural disaster, and the crisis management centre began its work.

Due to the deteriorating weather and poor forecast for the weekend IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division was put on high alert operation.

33 crews of power engineers (136 people), and 36 specialized vehicles are involved in the restoration work. Each Distribution Zone has available redundant power supply sources. The work will continue without breaks until power is restored in full.

The direct phone line of power engineers at 8-800-50-50-115 (toll-free) operates around the clock, where you can get information on the restoration work and the time it will be completed.
