IDGC of Centre provides a high level of social support for its employees

IDGC of Centre pays much attention to the provision of social protection for its employees. In accordance with the Collective Agreement, employees of all branches of the company are provided with a number of preferences, benefits and compensation, particularly when going on vacation, in connection with the registration of marriage, birth of a child, etc. Monthly material assistance is given to employees who are on leave for child care, large families and families with disabled children.

Last year the branches of IDGC of Centre did much to recruit, keep and efficiently develop highly qualified professionals, to strengthen health of employees. In the framework of recreational activities power engineers have the opportunity to purchase subsidized vouchers for recreation and spa treatment. Discounted vouchers are available for children of staff in health centres and children's camps. For example, IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division in 2014 provided the opportunity to relax on such conditions for 122 employees, and 34 children spent the summer in children's recreational camps.

All the company’s employees are participants in the program of voluntary health insurance (VHI). Each of them has an opportunity to obtain a wide range of free medical services, including various kinds of medical examinations, outpatient and dental care, inpatient and spa treatment. In 2014, under the VHI contract 66 employees of Kurskenergo used vouchers to sanatoriums in the Russian Federation.

According to Head of labour organization and motivation of IDGC of Centre Anna Konstantinova, this work aims to create the most favourable conditions both for effective work, and preservation of health, recreation of employees of IDGC of Centre and their families, which helps to provide highly productive labour.

In addition, IDGC of Centre organizes annual sports competitions, contests and amateur arts festivals. In many branches football and hockey teams were created, in particular, the football team of Kurskenergo is the winner of regional competitions. In total recreational activities cover 2,500 employees of the branch. Furthermore, the power engineers are actively involved in domestic charitable projects.

The trade union organization also makes a significant contribution to social policies in each branch of the enterprise, which protects the rights and interests of employees, creating good conditions for them to work and rest, pays great attention to the promotion of healthy lifestyles.

"Common cultural and sports activities allow to strengthen corporate culture and elevate mood. In addition, a healthy lifestyle of employees is the key of production success," underlines Nikolay Kalinin, Chairman of the trade union organization of Kurskenergo.
