IDGC of Centre took part in the closing ceremony of the V labour season of students’ crews of JSC "Russian Grids"

IDGC of Centre was represented by 12 graduate students of energy universities of the Central Federal District. The event took place in the Crimea and was attended by over 200 students. World War II veterans and honoured workers of the electric grid complex also participated in it.

Closing the students’ employment season, General Director of JSC "Russian Grids" Oleg Budargin expressed confidence that direct communication of several generations facilitates the transfer of the best labour and patriotic traditions: "I am glad that here all generations have gathered. Our veterans who defended freedom in the Great Patriotic War. Our staff who ensure reliable power supply. And our students who got experience at power facilities, and tomorrow will join the ranks of the Group of Companies "Russian Grids". Having started 5 years ago to revive the movement of students’ construction crews, we were sure that it was not in vain.

Today it is 1,500 students, who tomorrow will not only graduates, but also have practical experience."

The season closing is traditionally held in the format of a students’ creative festival: the young people had amateur performances.

In a festive atmosphere the best participants of the employment crews for the victory in the competitions among the students for the best photos, video and article were awarded prizes, diplomas and gifts.

Representatives of IDGC of Centre won prizes: Artem Dombrovsky took the third place in the contest for the best articles and short stories, "Energy - 2014" of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division; the prize for "the most original work" in the same competition was awarded to Daria Filonova of the students’ crew "Energizer" of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division; the students’ crew "Discharge" of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division took the third place in the contest for the best wall newspaper, the crew’s leader Katerina Tatarinova was awarded a commendation.

According to Deputy General Director for Human Resources and Organizational Design Inna Gromova: "The movement of youth crews every year gains momentum. Work in the construction crew again becomes prestigious. This gives the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge received during the training. This experience will also help graduates in their future career, because the employer always prefers those who have practical experience."
