IDGC of Centre reconstructed the substation "Naryshkinskaya"

9 October 2014

As part of the investment program IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division reconstructed the 110/35/10 kV substation "Naryshkinskaya". The project cost more than 54 million rubles.

The substation was put into operation in 1974. It supplies electricity to the settlement of Naryshkino and most of Uritsky district, all socially significant facilities - hospitals, kindergartens, about 12 schools, nursing homes, penal colony #5, 3 bakeries, and infrastructure facilities (water towers, etc.). The reason for its reconstruction was the need to ensure a reliable and optimal power supply circuit. In order to make transit operation of the 110 kV overhead line from the Bryansk power system in the closed mode, the reconstruction of the 110 kV substation Naryshkinskaya was performed in 2 stages.

During the implementation of the investment project 110 kV outdoor switchgear was reconstructed with replacement of short-circuiting and isolating switches for 110 kV gas-insulated circuit breakers and installation of a 110 kV sectionalizing switch. In addition, a mobile substation control room and microprocessor-based protection of two transformers was installed, and the outgoing 110 kV overhead lines "Orel-Naryshkino" and "Naryshkino-Bogoroditskaya" are being prepared for reconstruction.

"As a result of the reconstruction the reliability of electricity supply in Uritsky, Khotynetskyo and some part of Shablykinsky and Soskovsky districts of the Orel region will significantly increase, and safety of routine switching will improve. It is worth mentioning the increasing level of power supply reliability of consumers in the Bryansk power system, including critical industrial facilities," says Deputy Director for Technical Issues - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division Igor Kolubanov.
