IDGC of Centre - a prize winner of the XIV Interregional Kursk Korensk Fair

IDGC of Centre became a prize winner of the XIV Interregional Kursk Korensk Fair, held from 19 to 22 June 2014 in the Kursk region. Acting Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Mikhailov handed Laureate Diploma in a solemn ceremony to Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky. This award is a testament to the company's contribution to socio-economic development of the region, enhancing its attractiveness, creating conditions for the expansion of cooperation with other subjects and neighbouring countries.

In turn, the fair organizing committee announced gratitude to IDGC of Centre for the active participation in the preparation of the event and expressed appreciation for the revival of national traditions of the Kursk region.

The Kursk Korensk Fair is one of the most famous sites for establishment and development of economic ties and promotion of products of enterprises and companies in Central Russia. IDGC of Centre took part in it for the tenth time. At the exhibition the company, which was housed in one of the central pavilions of the fair - "Regions of the Central Federal District" - experts of the Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre presented information on the main activities of the company, additional services, new technologies implemented at power facilities, and told participants and guests of the fair on the grid connection procedure. Near the exposition there was a travelling Customer Service Centre of IDGC of Centre in operation, whose staff gave everyone detailed consultations on issues related to power supply, grid connection, and provision of value-added services.

Deputy General Director for Technical Issues – Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin visited the fair and exposition of IDGC of Centre. "Today's technical policy of the company contributes to coming modern technologies to regions of its service area. In the near future we will see at power facilities of IDGC of Centre new switchgear, new elements of distribution networks, which will significantly increase the reliability of power supply of our customers," stressed Alexander.

During the fair the Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre took additional measures to ensure the reliability of power supply of the settlement of Svoboda, where it was held. Emergency and repair crews were on round the clock duty, diesel generators were installed, and special vehicles were constantly available. All this allowed to ensure comfortable conditions for the participants and guests of the fair for negotiations, exchange of experience, new agreements and contracts.
