The situation in the Tver region in the districts with power interruptions has been stabilized

15 December 2013

For the past day the power supply, interrupted by a powerful cyclone, to residents of the Tver region was practically restored. The power supply to social facilities was provided.

The cyclone with sleet, freezing rain and gusty winds caused massive power outages and interrupted power supply in the region.

Currently Tver power engineers of IDGC of Centre are completing emergency repair work on 6/10 kV overhead lines in some sparsely populated areas. Particular attention is given to circuits and power lines inspections to identify damage that can trigger off new ones and timely removal of identified defects.

Currently the repair work involves 41 crews, 164 people, equipped with 41 necessary vehicles.

Information about restoring the electricity supply is available via the around the clock toll-free direct number of power engineers at 8-800-50-50-115.
