December 2, 2013 due to a snow cyclone, which hit the Smolensk region, in some parts of the region there are power outages.
To date, IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division is performing first responding and repair work in two districts. First of all electricity supply of infrastructure facilities is being restored.
In the field there 42 crews of Smolenskenergo’s repair personnel and 120 specialized vehicles. The status of the restoration work is monitored by the operational headquarters of IDGC of Centre and the General Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the Smolensk region. The work will go continuously until power supply is restored.
