IDGC of Centre to take part in the international forum ENES 2013

November 21-23 the second international forum ENES 2013 will take place in the premises of Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. It is expected that the event will be attended by over 7,000 people, representatives of about a hundred companies from Russia and foreign countries.

The ENES Forum is organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and is one of the major events in the field of energy efficiency. This is a professional platform for business, which brings together representatives of state authorities as well as private energy companies. One of the objectives of the forum is to promote energy efficiency not only at the federal and international level but also at the municipal and regional levels.

Representatives of IDGC of Centre will take part in the business program of the forum, where, together with heads of large enterprises, representatives of regional authorities, businessmen and politicians will discuss effective mechanisms for the implementation of the state program of energy development, as well as get acquainted with the latest developments in the field of energy conservation.

General Director of IDGC of Centre Oleg Isaev will take part in the round table «Zero growth rate: is it possible to increase energy efficiency and modernization of the distribution grid complex». The panelists will discuss how to improve the energy efficiency at the zero growth rate, as well as international experience in tariff regulation.

At the booth IDGC of Centre will demonstrate a physical model to control operation modes of the distribution grid complex, which can qualitatively change the approach to dealing with reactive power. It will also show the economic effect (in terms of money and kW/h) of energy efficiency measures and energy conservation, aimed to improve the reliability, quality, availability and efficiency of energy supply in Russia as a whole and in the context of IDGC of Centre.

The business program of the Forum is scheduled for three days and includes plenary sessions on the issue of energy-efficient way of development of the Russian economy, and the All-Russian meeting on energy efficiency with the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation A. Novak, Mayor of Moscow S. Sobyanin, Deputy Mayor for Housing and Public Works P. Biryukov, leaders and heads of 83 regions of the Russian Federation. The main topic of the All-Russian meeting will be the program to subsidize the development of regional energy efficiency programs for 2014. After the meeting, there will be sessions of intergovernmental groups and the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Energy.

The third day of the Forum is dedicated to youth initiatives in the field of energy efficiency. On this day Gostiny Dvor will host the National Park of youth initiatives to promote a culture of energy efficiency and conservation in the Russian Federation — the first large-scale dialogue of present and future leaders on trends of the development of the Russian and world power industry.
