Rating Agency Expert RA at the XIV Contest of Annual Reports (for 2011) made for the first time the ration of top 100 annual reports on the quality of their preparation. As a result, the annual report of IDGC of Centre takes the seventh position, having gained 9.12 points. IDGC of Centre is ahead in the ranking of the large companies such as Gazprom Neft, Atomredmetzoloto, Gazprom, Akron, Sberbank, Transcontainer and others.
The quality of reporting was assessed by experts, based on the information richness of the annual report and its format compliance with global best practices. The content of the reports was analyzed on five basic criteria, among which were: market positioning, business strategy, value added activity, sustainable development and availability of formal information.
In this case, the reports of both Russian companies and Russian versions of the reports of companies from the former Soviet republics of Armenia, Latvia, and the Ukraine were considered.
The annual report of IDGC of Centre for the second year in a row is highly appreciated by Expert RA. Thus, the report of the company for 2010 was nominated in the category “Best Annual Report (non-financial sector) ”.
