Specialists of IDGC of Centre took part in the 3rd International Exhibition and Conference on Occupational Health and Safety in the energy industry "SAPE 2012"

The exhibition “SAPE 2012” presented the latest developments of personal protective equipment (PPE). The exhibition had 93 companies, both domestic and foreign. For three days the exhibition was attended by over 1090 specialists in the field of PPE, as well as energy, regional government representatives, chief engineers of Russian enterprises in the energy industry.

Specialists of IDGC of Centre paid special attention to new models of robotic simulators to practice skills in first aid in case of an accident at work — “Gosha-06” and “George”, visited the booths with electrical protection features and during their meetings put forward their suggestions for rework of the exhibits displayed. The participant in the exhibition also examined the individual and team protection gear for staff of energy companies: the special and protective clothing, footwear, insulating rods, dielectric plastic ladders, walkways, technical equipment for physical protection.

It should be noted that the provision of occupational health and safety of staff is one of the main priorities of the HR policy of IDGC of Centre. 367,8 million rubles were spent on the labor protection in 2011, including equipping staff with new safety equipment and devices to reduce the risk of injury while performing work. The Company plans to maintain high standards in the field of health care of employees and improve labour safety.
