The reconstruction project of Livenskaya CHP in the Orel region has enormous social significance for the region. In connection with this power engineers of IDGC of Centre are paying close attention to the technological connection of a gas turbine unit of Livenskaya CHP with a capacity of 30 MW.
For the first time in the electric grid of IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division the technology of a cable and overhead connection was used on the 110 kV lines. The cable line with its length of 500 m is connected to the overhead line of 1.8 km length through special couplings. During the construction of the overhead section of the line galvanized anchor poles and one steel multi-faceted pole were installed. These power line poles are capable of withstanding the maximum power load and characterized by high resistance to corrosion.
This project implementation will allow to remove the shortage of electric power in several districts of the Orel region, to improve the reliability of power supply of the Livensky industrial cluster and to provide technological connection of new consumers.
