Power engineers of IDGC of Centre promptly eliminated the consequences of an outage in the Kostroma region

On October 25, at 12-55, in the Kostroma region some adverse weather conditions caused the disconnection of 110 kV transmission power line “Elegino-Soligalich”, while there was a partial power failure in settlements of Chukhlomky, Galichsky and Soligalichsky districts.

The efforts to eliminate the outage involved four crews of electricians. Thanks to the harmonious actions of the power engineers all consumers of electricity had been restored by 15:00 that day.

“Kostroma power engineers of IDGC of Center worked quickly, literally within an hour most of the consumers were powered with a backup scheme. Socially important facilities were connected in the first place,” — noted Deputy General Director for Technical Issues — Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Sergey Shumakher.
