The summer sports and athletic meeting of the unified operating company of centre started

Opening the competitions Alexey Zelensky recalled that today event was the selection round of the All-Russian Summer sports and athletic meeting of IDGC Holding, JSC. “All of you, employees of the Unified operating company of Centre, are worthy of victory”, — he said.

Within two days 300 sportsmen from 11 regions of Russia will compete in mini-football, volleyball, track-and-field athletics and kettlebell lifting. 13 sets of medals will be awarded in the course of competitions. The youngest and oldest participants of the sports and athletic meeting will be rewarded by additional prizes.

Viktor Ablyozgov addressed to sportsmen on behalf of the trade union of the Company: “Healthy life style is being actively cultivated in IDGC of Centre. Each year even more events aimed at formation of personnel commitment, informal communication are organised. Today sports and athletic meeting is one of the most large-scaled for the whole history of the Company. We open emotional, bright holiday of sport which is watched at present in all parts of the Central Russia with interest. We wish all participants joy and victories!”

Deputies General Director – Directors of Kostromaenergo and Tambovenergo divisions came to the sport holiday to support their teams. They wished sportsmen luck and for the spirit of fair Themis to accompany their performance.

“Being hearty hosts we would like for this sports and athletic meeting to stay in memory as the holiday of communication and healthy life style! Let it serve for strengthening of friendly relationship between divisions”, — Alexandr Letyagin, Deputy General Director – Director of Orelenergo division of IDGC of Centre, emphasized.

When organizing events difficult weather conditions in which sportsmen are to compete were taken into account. According to meteorological forecasters temperature in Orel can reach +39 degrees. Medical personnel duty, free handout of cool beverages and food are organized at sport sites. The sport complex is equipped with shower cabins.

The event will be held for two days. As the results, the strongest sportsmen will be determined. It is they who will defend the Company’s honor at the Summer sports and athletic meeting of IDGC Holding, JSC which will be held from September 7 to 11 of 2010 in Moscow region.
