IDGC of Centre and administration of Bryansk region concluded the agreement

7 May 2010 Nikolay Denin, the Governor of Bryansk region, noted: “Economic, political and social stability of the region depends on power industry. Power supply quality and reliability have increased when your team came. Your Company does not only create new jobs in the region and fairly pays taxes, but it participates in important social projects implemented by us. I signed this agreement with pleasure and I am sure that our co-operation at Bryansk land will successfully continue”. 

The parties discussed opportunities for development of mutually beneficial relations and urgent issues of functioning of power complex of the region. The transfer of the branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC – “Bryanskenergo” to regulation of tariffs for electric power transmission services by return on invested capital method (RAB) since July 1, 2010 was called the important goal of 2010. 

The co-operation plans include: design of prospective development scheme of power grids of 35—110 kv and 10-0,4 kv of Bryansk region for the period up to 2014, arrangement of conditions for wide application of energy efficient and saving technologies both at construction and operation of power facilities. It is planned as well to create and upgrade mechanisms of pricing and payments for consumed power resources, including in terms of regulation of relationship of entities of power retail market, transfer of power grid items of other business entities for maintenance, technical re-equipping of power complex of Bryansk region.

“We have mutual understanding with the heads of the region. This agreement allows us to achieve accords for the prospect. It makes clear how we will build our plans within the framework of new tariff regulation up to 2014 enhancing economic and investment potentials of Bryansk region. We are aware of problems and ready to solve them. I am sure that life will lead us to the unified grid operator in the region, and I can assure that IDGC of Centre represented by our branch Bryanskenergo will strictly fulfill its liabilities”, — Evgeny Makarov, the General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC, emphasized.
