Sergey Vakhrukov, Governor of the region, Andrey Epaneshnikov, Deputy Governor, Dr. Frits Hille, Chief of WOLF GmbH group (Germany), Igor Sharoshikhin, Director of the Department for fuel, power and tariff regulation of Yaroslavl region, Heads of power companies of the region participated in the solemn event devoted to putting into operation of CGI.
Under the contract for technological connection power engineers of IDGC of Centre reconstructed power transmission lines of 0,4 kv from Integrated transformer substation “Boiler house” of 0,4 km, installed two additional supports, substituted the existing wire by self-supporting insulated one. These measures will provide opportunities to increase the reliability of this site of power grids considerably.
Yaroslavl region has become the pilot region of the Russian Federation, in which territory one of the six Federal projects in the field of power efficiency “Integrated small power engineering” is being implemented. This project initiated implementations of measures of sub-program on power complex efficiency increase in Yaroslavl region basing on co-generation power development. Boiler houses of all municipal entities of the region will be up-graded within the program, this will provide the opportunity to reduce power deficit of the region by 40 %.
Igor Solonikov, Deputy General Director — Director of the branch “Yarenergo” of IDGC of Centre, JSC noted: «We do not just support the program on power efficiency increase in the region, but we are its active participants. Now the great way of co-generation development started in the region. Putting this item into operation will allow increasing of boiler house power efficiency that provides consumers with thermal power. Besides, we received reliable reserve source of power supply».
In 2010 similar gas-piston co-generation installations are planned to be assembled in Myshkinsky, Lyubimsky, Nekruzsky, Nekrasovsky municipal districts.
