At the event, initiated by the Board attached to the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District, 18 entities of the district presented innovational decisions of the enterprises in the field of resource- and power saving, of informational and telecommunication technologies, of improvement of efficiency of industrial production, new materials as well as environment protection.
“Smart city ― smart networks” ― stand of Belgorod region demonstrated participation of the branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC ― “Belgorodenergo” in the international project on realization of power saving conception “Smart city”. Infrastructure of “the smart city” built on the basis of new technologies allowing to use power supplies rationally under the management of intellectual network working at minimal participation of people.
Evgeny Makarov, the General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC demonstrated modern information technologies, which help to manage the power grid complex of Belgorod region ― system of management of street lightning “Gelios”, automatic information system for commercial accounting of power consumption (ASCAPC) giving an opportunity to perform the precision computations of power engineers with consumers, to reduce commercial loss, to control quality of electric power to Georgy Poltavchenko, the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District.
Branches of IDGC of Centre, JSC “Bryanskenergo” and “Kurskenergo” presented their activity related to power saving and improvement of power efficiency within the framework of general expositions of regions.
Since 2008 branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC ― “Kurskenergo” has been using cabinet for automatic accounting of electric power eliminating the possibility of indications distortion. At present 106 such cabinets are installed in multifamily houses of centres of Kursk region. Besides, power engineers of IDGC of Centre extensively use self-supporting insulated conductor allowing to reduce the running charges by 40 %, to reduce technical loss and to eliminate the possibility of conductor theft. The exhibition participants’ attention was attracted by reference meter of electric power ZERA being used at the facilities of “Kurskenergo” since 2004. With the help of this multifunctional portable device the high-precision of electric meters measurements is provided.
In Bryansk region IDGC of Centre, JSC has been realizing the reactive power management program since 2007, which is intended to act until 2014. Implementation of the program will result in reduction of loss in power networks at least by 20 mln kW/h and in forming of power network equipment transmission capacity reserve.
Power saving and improvement of power efficiency are the main tasks of the Russian economy. During several years already IDGC of Centre, JSC successfully realizes projects on power saving. The Company achieves reduction of loss of electric power in networks using technologies and developments of native producers.
