Following the results of 2018, IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division recorded an increase in the number of requests for certain types of value-added services. In 2018, the service of installing and replacing metering devices was in great demand - 9,786 requests, provision of technical resources - 1,401 requests, maintenance of outdoor lighting networks - 346 requests, testing and diagnostics of electrical equipment - 118 requests and the service "Performing work related to customers in the implementation of the grid connection procedure” (the grid connection support - 1,235 requests). It should be noted that the number of customers who have entered into contracts for the grid connection support increases annually. Customers increasingly use this value-added service, which appeared relatively recently to help the main service - the grid connection. A total of 1,103 contracts for the provision of this service were concluded in 2018.
In 2018, the branch also concluded 289 contracts for the provision of services for the maintenance and repair of outdoor lighting networks. At present, about 36 thousand lighting fixtures in municipalities of the Smolensk region are maintained by Smolenskenergo. The branch operates and maintains 98 facilities of applicants, including substations, cable and overhead power lines.
In total for the year, 11,192 contracts for the provision of value-added services were concluded. The branch’s revenue from the sale of value-added services in 2018 amounted to 109.2 million rubles. The funds will be used for additional financing of the branch’s production programs and modernization of power grid facilities.
