More than 16 thousand people applied in Smolenskenergo in 2017 for value-added services

Following the results of 2017, IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division concluded 16,800 contracts for provision of value-added services, which is 5.1% higher than the number of contracts concluded in 2016 and almost 80% more than in 2015. The most popular among residents of the Smolensk region in 2017 were services for replacement, installation and testing of electricity meters - 13,476 applications were received. Also, residents of the region applied to the branch for carrying out works related to the competence of clients in the process of grid connection (Grid connection support), for operational maintenance and repair of electrical networks and electrical equipment, for testing and diagnostics of high-voltage equipment and electrical protective equipment and other services. The branch’s revenue from the sale of value-added services in 2017 amounted to 115 million rubles.

It is worth noting that the number of consumers who have signed contracts to support grid connection annually increases. Consumers are increasingly using the value-added service "Execution of works related to the competence of clients in the process of grid connection", which appeared relatively recently to help the core service - grid connection. In total, in 2017, 1,089 contracts were concluded for the provision of this service.

Also in 2017, the branch concluded 309 contracts for the provision of services for maintenance and repair of outdoor lighting networks. IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division currently maintains about 34 thousand lighting fixtures in municipalities of the Smolensk region.
