Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC, held an operational meeting on measures to protect employees working in difficult conditions in border regions.
Particular attention was paid to the work of the Rapid Deployment Group (RDG), whose members travel to a site of damage to power grids, accompanied by employees of the company’s security unit, ensuring the protection of power engineers during work.
During the meeting, the head noted that the experience of the Kursk “energy special forces” should be extended to other border regions, where working conditions require an increased level of protection for employees.
“The work of the RDG in conjunction with the security service shows high efficiency. It is necessary to scale up the developed regulations to the regions in order to minimize risks and guarantee the prompt work of power engineers to restore energy facilities damaged by the enemy”, said Igor Makovskiy.
