Igor Makovskiy: more than 3,500 employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region got the opportunity to undergo professional training in remote mode

Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region summed up the intermediate results of staff training. Since the beginning of the year, over 9.5 thousand employees of the companies have received new knowledge and skills within the framework of various forms of training, 70 million rubles were allocated for these purposes. Most of the learners are representatives of manufacturing specialties.

Given the complicated epidemiological situation, the management of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region decided to make adjustments to the staff training and development system, transferring the educational process to remote mode. In this format, more than 3,500 employees underwent training. More than half of the employees studied remotely at the branches of Yarenergo (512 out of 791 completed their studies), Tverenergo (488 out of 707), Ivenergo (242 out of 341), Smolenskenergo (224 out of 304) and Orelenergo (174 out of 323).

More than 70 electricians, electrical fitter, drivers of specialized vehicles, representatives of other production specialties of the Voronezhenergo branch passed distance learning on labour protection, safe methods and techniques for performing work at heights, safe work on lifting equipment at the Voronezh Training Centre “Energetik”. In the same mode, more than 240 of their colleagues from the Ivenergo branch received new knowledge in similar areas. Over 130 electricians of Distribution Zones and services of the Tverenergo branch underwent on-line professional retraining at the Tver Training and Production Centre. Remote training, retraining and advanced training of more than 260 managers, specialists and workers in the electric power industry was organized in the Udmurtenergo branch. About a thousand employees from all 20 branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region undergo full-fledged distance learning for the first time on the digital transformation of the electric grid complex.

“Caring for the life and health of staff is one of the key priorities of our work, and in the current situation it is especially relevant. We promptly responded to the current situation and provided our employees with the opportunity to continue their studies, gain new knowledge and develop professionally even in the current conditions, subject to all current safety measures,” stressed General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region Igor Makovskiy.

In total, during 2020, more than 24 thousand employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region will undergo vocational training and upgrade their qualifications. For these purposes, the energy companies will spend about 200 million rubles.
