Igor Makovskiy: "Digital transformation technologies help us take care of the health of our employees"

20 March 2020

On 19 March, a hotline was opened at Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region to receive applications and consultations from branches’ employees on issues related to organizing work in an unfavourable epidemiological situation. This decision was made at a meeting of the operational Headquarters of the companies on the initiative of General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy. The subscribers of the line will be, first of all, the employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, who have already switched or plan to switch to a remote mode of operation.

The “hotline” will work around the clock. For its functioning, a separate number and a special line are allocated in the Contact Centre of the energy companies. The special line phone is 8 4722 588 058

When a subscriber calls, it starts to work in automatic mode. The caller will find out where to go for up-to-date information on the epidemiological situation in his or her region and on general issues related to the prevention of viral infection.

Then, an operator will connect to the conversation, who will answer specific questions regarding preventive measures taken by the companies and the organization of remote work. If necessary, the subscriber will be connected with the head of the relevant unit. If the call was made after hours, a message containing the essence of the issue and contact details for feedback will be sent to the manager’s email using special equipment.

At the end of each day, all requests will be analyzed. Issues requiring systemic solutions will be referred to the specialized deputy general directors and heads of departments. The work of the “hotline” will continue until the final stabilization of the overall situation.

“Opening the “hotline” in this situation is a completely logical step. In our work, we are guided in a priority order by the principles of social responsibility. We consider the care of the health of our employees as one of its key components, we make maximum use of all our solutions and tools, including digital transformation technologies, to solve this problem,” stressed General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.
