Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC, held a meeting of the Headquarters, where the work of the Company’s branches to ensure reliable power supply to consumers during weekends and holidays from 30.12.2022 to 09.01.2023 was discussed.
The head of the energy company assessed the readiness of the electric grid complex of 20 regions of the Company’s presence, including border regions, for work during the upcoming holidays, and also set a number of tasks for directors of branches to increase the level of control over the response to possible technological violations, quickly process residents’ requests, and also strengthen interaction with regional bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and municipalities.
1,401 crews, including 4,387 production personnel, and 1,757 specialized vehicles, are ready to carry out possible emergency recovery work in all the regions where Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region have their presence.
“Both on weekends and holidays, regardless of the weather and time of day, power engineers must fulfill their main task - to provide reliable power supply to consumers. During the New Year period, when the load on the grid grows, it is especially important to make sure that there is always light and warmth in the homes of residents of the 20 regions where Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region operate, and Christmas trees and festive illuminations sparkle in the streets. We have done a lot of preparatory work to meet external challenges at a high level and promptly respond to their consequences,” Igor Makovskiy emphasized.
