Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC, held a targeted meeting with directors of branches and specialized deputies, where he summed up the results of fulfillment in 2022 of one of the strategic goals of the Companies - reducing the level of electricity losses.
The head of the energy companies emphasized that the predicted level of electricity losses in the 0.4-10 kV grids for both Companies by the end of the year will be 14.4%, that is, 3.8 points lower than in 2018, when the strategic goal for losses was set. In monetary terms, this is a saving of about 1.7 billion rubles a year.
As a reminder, Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, as part of the task of reducing losses, are actively implementing innovative home-made automation and analytics tools, as well as carrying out organizational changes. This year, the Records Control Centre was opened, whose tasks are data analysis, development and issuance of tasks, control over their execution, as well as evaluation of the effectiveness of work to reduce losses.
“Thanks to the introduction of the latest tools and organizational changes, we are already saving 5.6% of our total annual loss costs today. As a result of a thrifty approach to costs, we have maintained a positive trend in our key indicators and continue to maintain the company’s development vector at the planned level, despite the challenges of our time,” emphasized Igor Makovskiy.
