Igor Makovskiy: power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region ensured reliable power supply to polling stations on the election days

13 September 2022 General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region held an operational meeting, where he thanked specialists of the companies for the high-quality organization of measures to ensure reliable power supply to 6.5 thousand polling stations on the voting days.

The elections of different levels were held in all regions of operational responsibility of the Companies, and in seven of them – the Vladimir, Kirov, Ryazan, Tambov, Yaroslavl regions, the Republics of Mari El and Udmurtia, top officials of the subjects of the Russian Federation were elected.

During the voting period, increased control over the operation of power grid facilities was established, all scheduled repairs were suspended, and security measures were strengthened. On duty there were 1,241 emergency recovery crews in the amount of 3,900 people and 1,589 motor and special vehicles.

“The energy specialists carried out a whole range of preparatory measures, and directly on the election days they were on high alert until the signing of minutes at the polling stations. We have done everything possible so that the residents of the regions of our presence can freely express their civic position, because the trajectory of the development of our country and society in the coming years depends to a large extent on this,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
