General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC at an operational meeting assessed actions of branches of the Companies in conditions of a high level of fire hazard.
This situation persists in the Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Ivanovo regions, where the total area of fires is more than 26 thousand hectares, of which almost 900 hectares are areas of active burning.
The Ryazanenergo, Nizhnovenergo and Ivenergo branches have been put on high alert. Power engineers are taking an active part in the fight against the elements, providing highly passable specialized vehicles, delivering personnel to extinguishing sites.
“We must work ahead of the curve so that when the fire hazard period passes, we continue to fulfill our main tasks - to ensure reliable power supply to consumers. To do this, the main thing now is to focus on activities aimed at the safety of the grid infrastructure, and constant interaction with the authorities and the Ministry of Emergency Situations,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
