Igor Makovskiy: the conditions and comfort of life of 720,000 residents of border areas depend on our work

10 June 2022 Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, made a working trip to border Distribution Zones on 10 June.

Please, be reminded that such branches as Belgorodenergo, Bryanskenergo, Voronezhenergo and Kurskenergo are included in a special category in terms of ensuring the safety of operation of the power grid infrastructure and employees at their workplaces. In 26 border Distribution Zones, 11 of which are located closer than 15 km to the border, a special mode of operation has been introduced.

In the border Distribution Zones, Igor Makovskiy personally checked the implementation of organizational, engineering and technical anti-terrorist measures. At the 110/10 kV Nezhegol substation near the village of Voznesenovka in the Shebekinsky district of the Belgorod region, the head of the energy companies noted that all the tasks set to ensure the protection of the life and health of workers and increase the level of anti-terrorist protection of energy facilities were completed.

General Director congratulated the employees of the Shebekinsky Distribution Zone on the upcoming holiday - Russia Day, and also spoke about the plans and facts of implementation of additional measures of social support for employees.

“We always take into account the risks that may arise as a result of a tense situation in a particular workplace, and immediately make decisions to minimize them. We keep in touch with the border areas around the clock, so that, if necessary, immediately connect all available resources to perform emerging tasks. At the same time, it is equally important to provide social and financial support to people on whom the power supply of the border area depends,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
