Yuri Zaitsev and Igor Makovskiy discussed the prospects for cooperation and development of the power grid complex of the Republic of Mari El

19 May 2022 On 18 May, Acting Head of the Republic of Mari El Yuri Zaitsev and General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC Igor Makovskiy held a working meeting at the site of the Main Analytical Centre of the Companies in Moscow, where they discussed the prospects for cooperation and development of the power grid complex of the region.

The head of the companies directly from the Main Analytical Centre, using the example of the work of the Multifunctional Information Technology Centre of Belgorodenergo, demonstrated to the head of the region the innovative capabilities of systems that are already working for the benefit of the region’s consumers. Igor Makovskiy stressed that Marienergo’s infrastructure is fully prepared for the introduction of such technologies, while they can be useful for obtaining analytics on the work of many industries, from healthcare to construction. In turn, Yuri Zaitsev noted that the implementation of such projects opens up new horizons in the region’s cooperation with such backbone enterprises as Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC.

In continuation, Igor Makovskiy noted the work carried out within the framework of cooperation with the region in the development of additional services, in particular, the implementation of major projects for the modernization and maintenance of outdoor lighting, in which Rosseti Centre and Volga region has serious competencies and proven experience.

One of the most important topics of the discussion was the implementation of the maintenance and repair program for the energy complex in order to prepare for the trouble-free passage of the upcoming autumn-winter season and provide reliable electricity to residents of the region.

“We will make every effort to contribute to the achievement of the ambitious goals that Mari El is facing today, and we will continue to fulfill our professional duty at a high level, providing consumers with reliable energy supply, increasing the capacity of the power grid complex to meet the growing needs of the region and introducing progressive technologies of domestic development,” stated Igor Makovskiy.

“Today we determine the priority goals and ways of socio-economic development of Mari El, first of all, based on the needs of the population of the Republic. Power engineers have always demonstrated a responsible approach to their work - ensuring uninterrupted power supply to residents. I am sure that our partnership and friendly relations will help achieve even better results in solving the tasks that society and the state set for us,” said Yuri Zaitsev.
