Igor Makovskiy set the task of ensuring the security and stability of the operation of the power grid complex in the new realities

Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Centre of Rosseti and Centre of Rosseti and Volga region, held an operational meeting, where tasks were set for the Company’s branches to ensure reliable power supply to consumers and unconditional implementation of information security measures.

The head of the energy company focuses on the fact that the Company is responsible for the creation of a sovereign energy product, which includes domestic IT systems and security equipment.
At the same time, the company faces a number of challenges that the industry has not encountered before, including the need to switch to Russian analogues of equipment and software in the very near future, as well as the increased threat of external hacker activity..

At the end of the meeting, the head of the company set the task for the relevant departments to accelerate the pace of work to strengthen the integrated security system based on domestic software, for which, as soon as possible, update and test Russian-made software and hardware protection.

“Under any conditions, under the most severe external influences, power engineers are obliged to fulfill their main task - to ensure reliable power supply to consumers. The branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region are constantly ready to meet information threats at a high level and promptly respond to their consequences in order to guarantee the energy security of the regions,” emphasized Igor Makovskiy.
