Igor Makovskiy opened a professional board based on the results of the activities of the security departments of Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC

The event was attended by employees of the central offices of the prosecutor's office, the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Investigative Committee, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the National Guard, as well as heads and employees of the security departments of the enterprises.

Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC opened the meeting to sum up the results of 2021 and set goals for 2022. 

In his opening speech, General Director of the companies noted the well-coordinated work of the entire team of the security unit, positively assessed the results of the work for the year in the main areas of activity, and also set goals for the coming year.

In his report, Yury Marakin, Deputy General Director for Security, noted that the security unit managed to surpass the performance indicators for the same period last year, without reducing its quality and efficiency. The results were achieved by concentrating efforts on the main areas in the field of economic and information security, ensuring the protection of power grid facilities, counteracting corruption and offenses in the Companies.

For example, in 2021, 9,568 applications were sent to law enforcement agencies about revealed facts of illegal activity, as a result of which 198 criminal cases were initiated on various offenses and 3,360 administrative proceedings. Guilty verdicts were issued against 43 people, 2,229 were brought to administrative responsibility. 

As part of the final meeting, the most pressing issues of economic, informational and integrated security were considered. During the work of the round tables, the participants exchanged their accumulated experience, in particular, the practice of collecting overdue receivables for the services provided for the transmission of electricity from direct consumers of the housing and communal services sector, identifying and suppressing non-metered electricity consumption by “mining farms”, corruption crimes, accompanying criminal cases initiated on the grounds of various elements of economic crimes. 

In his closing remarks, Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC emphasized: “The relevance and significance of the event was that it allowed the colleagues not only to exchange their best practices and practices in various areas of work, but also to define clear guidelines for effective provision of integrated security of the power grid complex.”
