Igor Makovskiy summed up the work of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region on grid connections in 2021

Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC held a meeting where he summed up the results of work for 2021 on grid connection. 

Last year, 68 thousand individuals and 14 thousand legal entities, more than 82 thousand consumer facilities with a total capacity of 1,709 MW became customers of grid connection services. 

More than 300 medical institutions with a total capacity of 16.8 MW were connected as soon as possible, of which 6 are organizations where people infected with coronavirus are being treated.

In addition, grid connection of applicants’ power installations was carried out under 292 contracts included in the list of national projects with a maximum capacity of 22 MW, including large agricultural facilities, schools, kindergartens, and industrial transport enterprises.

A number of major projects were implemented. One of them is the grid connection of a stationary traction substation with a maximum capacity of 20 MW for OJSC Russian Railways by the Yarenergo branch.

Voronezh power engineers for KUHN Vostok LLC connected a production and warehouse complex with a maximum capacity of 2 MW to the grids.

The Nizhnovenergo branch implemented the grid connection of facilities of JSC “Technopark Sarov” with a capacity of 4.99 MW and Municipal Public Institution “Main Department for Capital Construction of the City of Nizhny Novgorod” with a capacity of 2.738 MW.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the energy companies stressed that it is necessary to focus on further increasing the level of consumer satisfaction with the quality of services provided by the Companies. In particular, it is due to strict observance of the deadlines for consideration of applications stipulated by law, submission of draft contracts and fulfillment of obligations under contracts for the implementation of grid connection.

“Fulfilling all obligations to ensure reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers, we continue to implement strategic plans for the development of the power grid complex to ensure timely connection of new facilities to the grids. Today, our work is aimed at ensuring that the fulfillment of consumer requests occurs in a shorter time. This is especially true of medical institutions where patients with coronavirus infection are being treated. These projects are under special control,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
