Employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region became prize-winners of the All-Russian competition in cross-country skiing among fuel and energy companies

On 6-7 February 2021, the All-Russian cross-country skiing competition among the companies of the fuel and energy complex was held in the Moscow region. 9 teams took part in them, including representatives of 4 subsidiaries of Rosseti’s group, teams of PJSC Inter RAO, State Corporation Rosatom, PJSC TRK, PJSC SIBUR Holding, PJSC Territorial Generating Company No. 2 and PJSC Transneft. Athletes of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region took the second place in the team event.

Among the athletes who played for the team of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region — 10 people, including 4 women and 6 men from different branches. Sergey Lisitsyn, a leading engineer of the mechanization and transport service of the production support department of the branch ‘Ivenergo’, took the first place in the 5 km distance among men in his age category, and came third in the 10 km distance.

At the same distance, among men born in 2003-1986, Alexander Ivanov, an engineer of the group of automated systems of technological management of the information technology service of the production department ‘Arzamassky Distribution Zone’ of the branch ‘Nizhnovenergo’, finished first, and at the 5 km distance he took the honorable second place.

Among women at distances of 3 and 5 km, Ekaterina Bekhtereva, an engineer of the energy saving and energy efficiency section of the technological development department of the branch ‘Kirovenergo’, entered the top three, finishing second. It should be noted that Ekaterina Bekhtereva participates in the All-Russian competitions of the fuel and energy companies and takes prizes for the second year in a row.

At the same distances, but in a different age category, ‘bronze’ was won by Galina Kharitonova, a third-class telecom operator of the contact centre’s customer relations office of the services and services development department of the branch ‘Belgorodenergo’.

All-Russian cross-country skiing competitions are one of the most important events in the sports life of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region. For power engineers this is not only maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the spirit of corporate rivalry, but also strengthening friendly ties.
