Power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region are put on high alert due to weather conditions

Due to the predicted abnormally low air temperatures in a number of regions of the Central and Volga Federal Districts, a high alert mode was introduced in the branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region - Ivenergo, Kostromaenergo, Nizhnovenergo, Yarenergo, assuming the full mobilization of forces and means.

Operational headquarters work in the branches, information exchange is organized with territorial divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and executive authorities.

A special control over the operation of power facilities has been established. Operating and repair personnel were mobilized. All crews are equipped with necessary tools, devices, overalls, provided with highly passable specialized vehicles, prepared for round-the-clock work in any conditions. If necessary, the high alert mode will be promptly introduced in other branches.

A total of 595 crews, 2,524 people and 902 vehicles are ready for prompt response in the branches of the energy company. Also, at the disposal of the branches there are reserve power supply sources that can be used to supply electricity to socially significant facilities in the regions.
