Power Engineer’s Day and the 100th anniversary of GOELRO were solemnly celebrated at Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region

Power engineers from 20 branches of the energy companies connected to the festive events in Moscow online. Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti’s Group, and Arkady Zamoskovny, President of the ERA of Russia Association, addressed them with video greetings. All participants were greeted by Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.

“Today is one of the most important days in the history of the Russian energy sector. - just today we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the GOELRO Plan. We are all united by a common and important thing - we carry the proud title of a power engineer and this is the work of our whole life. I would like to congratulate those whose professionalism, striving to achieve the goal, high responsibility contribute to the successful solution of the tasks facing us. Thanks for your loyalty to your profession, for your honest and dignified attitude to your work, for your indifference and responsibility! With all my heart I wish all power engineers success, good health, inexhaustible energy and family well-being!”, said the head of the energy companies.

Also, within the framework of the celebrations, a solemn awarding of employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region with industry, departmental and corporate awards was held. In total, 888 power engineers were awarded them.
