Power engineers of “Rosseti Centre - Tverenergo” are put on high alert due to bad weather

In connection with the deterioration of weather conditions predicted on the territory of the western districts of the Tver region - the fall of wet snow, turning into freezing rain, a high alert mode was introduced at the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo”.

Tverenergo’s Grid Control Centre carries out enhanced monitoring of the meteorological situation in the entire region. The forces and means of operating personnel are fully mobilized and are ready at any time to move to a place of technological failures at facilities of the power grid complex. In the event of the need to eliminate technological violations, 219 crews of 860 personnel and 345 specialized vehicles are on duty in the branch.

Also, on the territory of the branch there is a reinforced grouping of forces and means, redeployed from other branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, consisting of 55 crews, 307 people and 105 vehicles.

Special control has been established over the operation of power facilities. Standby power supply sources in the amount of 41 units with a total capacity of 2,630 kW and more are ready for use.
